The CPCU Society Columbus Chapter is going to keep the momentum going in 2023!
Greetings fellow CPCU’s and friends of the Chapter.
Last year your chapter set a goal of getting their footing in the post-pandemic world and learning how to deliver interesting meeting content in our hybrid work environment. Thanks to the leadership of our immediate past president, Syd Eltringham and our board of volunteers we were able to find a meeting space that offers a great space that supports meeting both in-person and virtually.
In 2023 your board is going to continue our momentum from last year by offering you quarterly meetings and/or networking opportunities. We will still be focusing on the goals that we set out for ourselves last year:
- Relevant speakers at the forefront of our industry;
- Opportunities for the next generation of insurance professionals through scholarships and education;
- Leadership and networking opportunities for our members; and,
- Care for our communities through our Good Works programs.
Our March meeting will feature Jamie Warner from Lincoln Financial Group who will be presenting on data science and potential ethical concerns that should be considered. We will return to meeting in person at the Hofbrauhaus in Grandview with the option to join virtually via Zoom. Please visit our Columbus CPCU Society website to register for the event.
