Community Event
Good Works - Community Shelter Board
The local Gamma Iota Sigma group that we support will be serving a meal at the Community Shelter in April. We would like to gather toiletries for them to donate when they serve their meal. Toiletries will be collected at the February and March chapter meetings. Please see the following list and plan to bring to the next meeting!
Community Shelter Board’s network of shelter and housing programs served 12,000 people last year.
Van Buren Center, our community’s largest emergency shelter, serves hundreds of people experiencing homelessness every day. The center is operated by YMCA of Central Ohio, and you can help them stock the shelves with the simple things we all use each day to stay safe, clean and warm.
