Our speakers this month will be giving a presentation on market conduct exams.
Cheryl L. Davis, Sr. Compliance Director
Cheryl joined Nationwide Insurance in 2005. She currently leads the team responsible for handling all Department of Insurance exam requests for the Nationwide Insurance Group. This includes requests for all lines of business across both the Life & Annuity and Property & Casualty Insurance Companies. Her centralized team is responsible for consistent exam process management. She also supports the coordination efforts of unclaimed property exams and overseeing the Market Conduct Annual Statement (MCAS) process. Prior to joining Nationwide Insurance, Cheryl worked for the Market Conduct Division of the Ohio Department of Insurance and Midland Life Insurance Company.
Cheryl holds the AMCM, ALMI, AIRC and ACS designations. She also serves as President of the IRES Foundation Board and as a member of the Wolters Kluwer Strategic Advisory Board.
Bill Yarbrough, Compliance Consultant
Bill is a Compliance Consultant, working primarily on regulatory examinations called by state Departments of Insurance. He works as the Face of Nationwide to regulating authorities seeking to confirm compliance with state regulations. Bill has worked for Nationwide for 14 years, 6 of which have been in Nationwide Compliance. Bill is a lifelong Ohioan, raised in Medina and currently residing with his wife and two sons in New Albany.
Bill has his Bachelor’s Degree from Otterbein University and Master’s degree from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Bill also holds the MCM designation.
